Sunbury State School is a small school offering a range of engaging learning opportunities for approximately 200 students from Prep through to year 6. The school is one of the oldest primary
schools in the Maryborough area, and proudly celebrated its 125th
year in 2016. Sunbury State School’s motto “Learning for Life”, embraces the high
expectations for the success of all students and staff at our school.
Furthermore our school’s logo was developed by students and their families and
holds special meaning. The hands on the logo signify helping, support,
co-operation, caring, friendship, warmth, welcome and assistance. The Sunbury
sun/star shows that everyone has the opportunity to shine.
