Koalas early learning program
We are currently taking enrolments for our 2019 Koalas program that operates each Tuesday and Thursday all year round, from 8.50am to 10.50am. If you have a child of pre-prep age (born between July 1 2014 and June 30 2015), then our free Koalas program would be suitable for your child. Parents must remain in attendance with their child which enables parents to share this exciting learning journey together.
Koalas is an excellent way for children to get ready for their prep year. In Koalas your child will be introduced to early literacy, numeracy concepts whilst developing school readiness, the importance of good listening, sharing and much, much more.
School chaplaincy program
With the support of the National School Chaplaincy and Student Welfare Program, we are lucky enough to access the services of our school Chaplain, Chappy Jason. He is very popular with the students and is always ready to lend an ear to anyone who needs it. Please feel free to contact Chappy Jason at the school if he can be of any assistance to you or your family.

Playgroup
Playgroup operates every Thursday from 9.00am until 10.30am in our school hall. Playgroup provides a rich opportunity for children (aged from birth up to 5 years) to meet others and learn through play in a relaxed and friendly environment. Sunbury State School offers this playgroup in partnership with Anglicare, and is supported by Playgroup Queensland as part of our way to foster successful transitions for children into the school environment.
Every Thursday 9.00am until 10.30am. Contact the office for more information.
